Endurance
Endurance is the fastest growing discipline in the Equestrian sport, recording the highest growth globally in terms of increase in participation levels. Equestrian Federation of Assam has played a key role in the development of Endurance in India.

In 2001, when the first National Championship was held in Assam, there was hardly any interest in the sport in Assam and the North East India. It was largely due the persistent and committed effort of Equestrian Federation of Assam that the sport was introduced in states of Manipur and Meghalaya. And by 2003 Assam hosted the first ever International Endurance Championship, CEI, in Dibrugarh with participation from as many as Nine National Federations such as UK, Germany, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Newzealand, Greece, Sweeden etc.

With a unique combination of lush green Tea Plantations, grasslands and sand dunes of the Mighty Bhramaputra river, Dibrugarh presents a unique and fascinating land scape for Endurance riding. There is therefore little doubt as why it is clearly becoming a most favoured destination with the Endurance enthusiasts.
